The Town of Mansfield Planning & Zoning Commission opened a public hearing on January 7, 2026 to consider testimony and comments on proposed amendments to Chapter 18.10 Mansfield Municipal Code Zoning Definitions to add a definition for storage containers and Chapter 18.50 District Use Chart add storage containers as a prohibited use.
The public hearing was continued to February 4, 2026 where the Commission continued discussions about the proposed amendments and requested staff provifde a revised version of the amendments that would allow shipping/storage containers in all zoning districts with conditions about location size and aesthetic appearance. A copy of the proposed amendments can be obtained at Town Hall or on the Town's website.
With the hearing continued until March 4, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Town Hall, the Town is informing the public that written comments are welcome as is attendance at the March 4th, 2026 hearing.
Comments must be submitted to the Town of Mansfield at: PO Box 218, Mansfield, Washington 98830 no later tha 4:00 pm on March 3rd, 2026.
